Spring 2022

Starting with an exploration of lighting in the 1982 Japanese dystopian punk rock film, 'Burst City' by Gakuryü Ishii, Burst is designed to emulate its atmospheric essence. Through sketching and light modeling, the design aims to immerse its environment in a transformative wash of light, inducing a state of physiological relaxation.
