Spring 2023
Inspired by my visits to Skilset in Brooklyn, I decided to harvest from the fruits of the street (litter) and designed and made a coat rack from it.
Thanks to National Grid's "kindness" in abandoning this plank in front of my building, I took it as an opportunity.
With only my trusty jobsite table saw, I split the plank into four triangular beams, a lap-joint foot, and eight hooks. The pieces all fit together with simply 2 bolts in a cross formation.
